Is Peace Lily Toxic to Cats and Dogs?
Cats
Mouth irritation, drooling and vomiting (ASPCA).
Dogs
Mouth irritation, drooling and vomiting (ASPCA).
Yes, peace lilies are toxic to cats and dogs, but they are not true lilies. They contain insoluble calcium oxalates that cause burning and irritation of the mouth, drooling, vomiting and trouble swallowing (ASPCA). They don't cause the kidney failure that true lilies cause in cats. Call your vet if signs are severe.

Frequently asked questions
Is a peace lily as dangerous as an Easter lily for cats?
No. Peace lilies cause mouth and stomach irritation (ASPCA). True lilies (Lilium) can cause acute kidney failure in cats and need emergency care.
