Privacy policy

This policy explains what information VetExpenses (“we”) handles when you use vetexpenses.com.

Information you give us

We have no accounts, comments or forms. If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Your pet profile (name, species, weight, age, breed) is stored only in your own browser's local storage and is never sent to us; use “Forget my pet” to delete it. Calculator inputs stay in your browser; shareable links contain only non-personal values like a weight or a date.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people. It collects pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We use Google Consent Mode, so in the EEA, UK and Switzerland analytics storage stays off until you consent. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.

Advertising

We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Your choices

• EEA, UK and Switzerland: a Google-certified consent message asks for your choices before ad or analytics cookies are used; you can change them any time.
• US state privacy rights: use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

VetExpenses is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
